Wir waren zum dritten Mal im Neptune. Die Lage und der kurze Transfer vom Flughafen und die Ausstattung der Hotelanlage sind ausschlaggebend für die Wahl.
Die Zimmer, wir hatten ein Executive Appartement, sind groß, alles ist sauber, funktionstüchtig, die Betten sind sehr bequem, der Balkon sehr groß. Leider hat das Badezimmer kein 5 Sterne Niveau. Die Dusche wechselt von kalt auf fast kochend heiß, und die Duschkabine ist zu klein. Alternativ konnte man in der Badewanne duschen, das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß, schon garnicht in dieser Hotelkategorie. Die Klimaanlagen sind sehr laut. Einige Steckdosen waren nicht richtig befestigt.
Das Buffetrestaurant ist zum Abendessen nicht zu empfehlen, liebloses und wenig abwechslungsreiches Essen. Zum Frühstück gab es keinerlei Abwechslung oder Varianten, die Cooking- Station für Eierspeisen ist nicht zu empfehlen, das Rührei oder Omelette triefte nur so vor Fett. Anders zu beurteilen sind die Restaurants in der Anlage, die Taverne, die Osteria und das Umami. Hier gibt es feinstes Essen, TOP motiviertes Servicepersonal. Mit Ausnahme des Grillhouse Meating. Der Oberkellner ist sehr von sich überzeugt, es läuft aber nicht rund im Restaurant. Ein von mir bestelltes Filetsteak war nur lauwarm, die Soße fehlte ganz. Das Essen ging zurück, es dauerte eine ganze halbe Stunde bis ich ein neues Steak bekam.
Der Service war in Ordnung. Allerdings besteht auch hier Luft nach oben. Beschwerden an der Rezeption wurden umgehend erledigt. Die Coronaschutzmaßnahmen wurden im großen und ganzen eingehalten mit Ausnahme des Oberkellners im Grillhaus Meating, der die Mund-Nase-Maske nicht richtig trug, und die Abstände zum Gast nicht einhielt.
Der Transfer dauert maximal 20 Minuten. Die Insel ist gut mit einem Leihwagen zu erkunden. Direkt oberhalb der Anlage befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle.

Das Sportangebot ist sehr gut und wird auch viel genutzt. Schwimmen (50 Meter Pool), Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Fitnessstudio, Badminton, Schwimmschule, Radfahren, Minigolf, Yoga, Zumba ….. man kann garnicht alles aufzählen. Fünf verschiedene Pools, ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme, ein Bademeister je Pool der sofort die Liegen desinfiziert wenn diese frei werden…Vorbildlich! Es besteht die Möglichkeit von der Liege an den Pools und am Strand mittels QR Code Getränke und Snacks zu bestellen. Abends gibt es an einigen Tagen eine Open-Air Show.

It is our pleasure to know that overall, your experience was very positive and that you had an enjoyable stay with us. We’re also happy to read that you enjoyed the location, your room, the a la carte restaurants and our sport activities, and we sincerely appreciate that you acknowledge our hygiene measures. However, we regret to read that we weren’t able to fully meet your expectations in regard to the food in the Main Restaurant. Nevertheless, we would like to believe that our breakfast and dinner buffets offer a varied selection of options that cater to all tastes, and regret that you were not completely satisfied in this respect. Please know that we offer more than 60 different choices of sweet and savory breakfast options, and you can also let our staff know how you want your own omelette and create it with the ingredients of your choice. Our breakfast is indeed almost the same every day as we made a conscious choice to offer our guests our full breakfast daily instead of dividing our assortment over 7 different days to create a type of variety, as some other hotels choose to do. For dinner we offer more than 45 different choices including 2 carvings daily of fresh fish and meat, plus the possibility to create your own pasta, with each day 3 different pasta’s and 4 different sauces. The menu offered changes each day for 10 consecutive days, after 10 days, the cycle repeats itself, not before. Of course, some popular dishes like our French fries are offered daily. Furthermore, we have noted your suggestion regarding the shower in the room you were staying in and we will take your remarks into consideration for further improvements. We know our guests deserve the best and we will use your comments as we continually evolve to best meet and exceed our guests' expectations. Once again, thank you for your extensive review.
