Hotel liegt in der Nähe einer brennenden Müllhalde, bislang keine Löschversuche. Hotelpersonal sagte nur es wäre so üblich auf Zypern. Insgesamt kein 5 Sterne Hotel, alles kostet extra. Alles einfach und etwas veraltet. Fazit: 5 Sterne Hotel für Anspruchslose.

Dear Guest, We appreciate your time for posting your review regarding the garbage land field fire. We can understand your disapointment and frastrasion regarding the smell and smoke which influenced the whole Ayia Napa area for 3 days last week. Having said that though we feel that it is VERY unfair to panish the hotel for something happening 2 kilometers from the hotel and is beyond the hotels control. As you have chosen to make your complain in public but also unfair punish the hotel I feel the need to state the facts: - The hotel is located directly on one of the nicest sandy beaches of the island. - The above mentioned area is about 2 kilometers from the hotel between Ayai Napa and Paralimni. - The garbage area is since September 2010 officially closed as a new waste treatment plant is open near Larnaca. -The fire was put on accidentaly and quickly spread around the garbage area. In order to put it off and secure the area it took 3 days for the locan authorites as they had to cover with soil all the burning materials (The fire brigate could not use water to put it off) - Due to the north winds the smoke and smell influced, during these 3 days, the whole Ayia Napa area and along with the local people the tourists as well. - From the first moment we calle dthe fire brigate and then the police deoartment and we were constandly updated. I would like to thank you once again for taking the time to post your opinion and give us the opportunity to explain the situation Teh Alion team
