Das Hotel allgemein
The history of grandeur begins as you stroll up the steps to the marbled lobby of our historic hotel on Madison Avenue. The Roosevelt Hotel is named after our beloved 26th President of the United States, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. A true renaissance man, the hotel's architects designed the style of this grand hotel in his honor. An underground passageway was initially designed for secretive access to Grand Central Terminal. The hotel has welcomed Heads of State, "A" list celebrities, Fortune 500 CEO's and many shakers and movers of the corporate world. Does the hotel look familiar? Most likely because we have starred in many Blockbuster movies; Maid in Manhattan, Wall Street, French Connection, Men in Black III, Malcolm X and many others.
