Das Haus hat eine herrliche und ruhige Lage und das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich. Die Küchenleistung des Restaurants ist ausgeprochen mangelhaft - sehr schade. Wir haben deshalb während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes nur einmal im schönen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Das Frühstück ist okay. Der Aufzug zu den Zimmern war während des ganzen Aufenthaltes defekt. Für gehbehinderte Gäste wäre der Zugang zu ihren Zimmern daher nur sehr schwer möglich gewesen. Die Poolanlage ist gepflegt und sehr große. Wir hatten ein ausgesprochen günstiges Angebot für dieses Haus erhalten. Ein Mietwagen ist auf jeden Fall dringend zu empfehlen.

We are happy to inform you that the Hotel Quinta Jardim da Serra closed its doors in the end of the year 2012 and reopened as Hotel Quinta da Serra in July 2014. The hotel is completely refurbished and restored with a new ownership and management and a new gourmet Chef that offers an international and local organic cuisine with a contemporary twist. On this note we would like to let you know that the most of the difficulties and technical hitches the hotel had, were fixed, removed and taken care off. We had a 14 months period of hard work to reshape all the buildings and surroundings, and mainly the concept of the hotel, which has now a BIO and eco-friendly approach. Therefore I hope we can welcome you once again in a new Hotel Quinta da Serra and show you the glory, prestige and wellbeing of a new hotel.
