Hotel Vital Dunas Suites www.hotelesdunas.com is located in a quiet part of Playa del Ingles on the border with Maspalomas. View is magnificent and overlooks the golfcourse and the dunes. 500 mtr away is the Yumbo and the Cita. Guest are older people who are having the wellness program and several gay couples. No entertainment. Not very suitable for kids ( better options around). Rooms are big and luxury ( bathrope , swimming-pool towels , razor kit and so on). Good cleaned by a happy staff 2X a day . The bedroom is having an own airco and can be turned on all day. Due to the architecture and the publicum, there was NO noice in the night so we slept very well ( 1 time in all our experience). A disadvantage is that there is no wireless LAN in the room but in the lobby. Best rooms are (our point of view) at the right hand side of the hotel so there is also sun on the balcony. When you check before on internet "telephone Spain Germany" you find a spanish 900 number and we phoned for 1 euro 5 minutes from our room.

New sheets 1X 3 days. Towels as much as you like. A few , major , German TV and 1 Dutch tv. Rest standard Spanish, BBC and so on.

Breakfast is good incl champagne ( plastic chair cover. Gives sweaty trouser! ) and the wine was too warm in the evening. This was also solved (by ordering the wine a day before). No buffet style dinner but a choice menu with head dish fish or meat. Quality is very good , up to high class kitchen. Meat surprisingly good. Meals were also challenging (ever had pepper soup with banana parts??)

1 man at the reception was very unfriendly and this was told to the direction.

uiet and still close to the Cita and Yumbo. Shuttle bus from hotel to the beach but taxi's are cheap. Renatl car is the best solution and you can drive straight from the hotel (not towards RIU) and end on a parking were you have to take the stairs to the beach.
