Arina Beach Resort

Im Allgemeinen hat dieses Hotel meiner Meinung nach 5***** verdient! Ich möchte noch positiv dazu erwähnen: 1. Die Handtuchausgabe funktionierte reibungslos und klasse 2. Die Flugzeuge welche angeblich ein Störfaktor sein sollten, haben mich persönlich uberhäupt nicht gestört - im Gegenteil. 3. Man konnte sich 2x am Tag von einem Arzt auf Corona testen lessen (Schnelltest oder PCR), hierfür musste man lediglich vorher eine Art Formular ausfüllen. 4. Der Strand war atemberaubend! Der hoteleigene Strand, mit kostenlosen Liegen, Handtüchern und Sonnenschirmen, sowie Sofaliegen war einfach klasse! Das Meer war sehr schön und sauber. Der Strand war hell und sandig (ein Traum). Man konnte traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Liegen waren immer welche da, es wurden dann auch welche nachgestellt. Seealgen gab es ab und an, aber es gab auch Strandabschnitte ganz ohne Algen. Leider war es öfters Mal sehr windig, was sich auch auf das Meer auswirkte, aber manchmal trotzdem nicht schlecht war) und wofür das Hotel natürlich nichts kann. Es war alles sehr sauber und hygienisch. Im Restaurant standen stehts Masken und Handschuhe zur Verfügung, alles war sauber und selbst für Gäste die abreisen standen Duschen zur Verfügung. Wir hoffen sehr dieses Hotel ein nächstes Mal besuchen zu dürfen und bedanken uns beim kompletten Hotelteam. English: In general, this hotel deserves 5 ***** in my opinion! You could have yourself tested for corona by a doctor twice a day (rapid test or PCR), all you had to do was fill out a kind of form beforehand. 4. The beach was breathtaking! The hotel's own beach, with free loungers, towels and umbrellas, as well as sofa loungers was just great! The sea was very nice and clean. The beach was light and sandy (a dream). You could watch wonderful sunsets. There were always some loungers there, and some were then adjusted. There was seaweed every now and then, but there were also sections of the beach without any algae. Unfortunately it was often very windy, which also had an effect on the sea, but sometimes it was still not bad) and of course the hotel cannot help. Everything was very clean and hygienic. In the restaurant there were masks and gloves available, everything was clean and showers were available even for guests who were leaving. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Gartenblick. Das Zimmer war durch eine Art Schiebetür getrennt (1 Doppelbett // 2 Einzelbetten). Es gab eine schöne Veranda. Nasse Kleidung... hingen wir an Stühlen und Tisch auf. Am Anfang fanden sich 2 Flaschen Wasser. Im Verlauf gab es dann noch einmal 2 Flaschen. Als sehr positiv empfand ich die Ausstattung im Bad, d. h. es gab Duschgele, Bodylotions, Shampoos, Conditioner... mit Oliven/Honigextrakt. Die Betten bzw. Matratzen empfand ich persönlich als hart. English: We had a family room with a garden view. The room was separated by a kind of sliding door (1 double bed // 2 single beds). There was a nice porch. Wet clothes ... we hung up on chairs and table. At the beginning there were 2 bottles of water. In the process there were then two more bottles. I found the bathroom fittings to be very positive, i. H. There were shower gels, body lotions, shampoos, conditioners ... with olive / honey extract. I personally found the beds and mattresses to be hard.

Die Gastronomie war exzellent! Es befanden sich 3 Restaurants im Hotelkomplex: Hauptrestaurant "Ariadne"; "Ala-Carte-Restaurant Avra" und "Asiatisches Restaurant Sunset". Geschirr wurde direkt abgeräumt. Alles hat gut geschmeckt. Es gab alle möglichen Fleischsorten,-Fisch.-und Meeresprodukte, viel an Obst, jeden Tag Pizza und Ähnliches und auch eine Ecke speziell mit Spezialitäten aus Kreta sowie viel Auswahl für Vegetarier - Zum Frühstück gab es beispielsweise diverse Milchsorten. Insgesamt stand jedes Abendessen unter einer bestimmten Thematik: Mexikanisch // Italienisch // Arabisch // International // Indisch // Fisch/Meeresfrüchte // Griechisch. Die Säfte waren alle lecker, zum Frühstück standen auch frische Säfte in Kübeln zur Verfügung. Was mich besonders positiv überrascht hatte, waren die Cocktails und Spirituosen: Es wurde aus Flaschen aufgefüllt; es gab alles mögliche und das kostenlos! und alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt! Am Strand konnte man für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch oder am Mittag etwas Essen: Pommes, Salate, Chicken Nuggets, Obst... Desweiteren wurden auch kostenlos Frappé, Freddo und Eisschokolade angeboten. Eine Poolbar war kostenpflichtig, an der anderen konnte man auch Brötchen, Obst Kekse und Kuchen snacken. Im Hotelinneren befand sich ebenfalls eine Bar. English: The gastronomy was excellent! There were 3 restaurants in the hotel complex: the main restaurant "Ariadne"; "Ala carte restaurant Avra" and "Asian restaurant Sunset". Dishes were cleared straight away. Everything tasted good. There were all sorts of meat, fish and seafood, lots of fruit, pizza and stuff like this every day and also a special corner with specialties from Crete as well as a lot of choice for vegetarians - for breakfast, for example, there were various types of milk. Overall, each dinner had a specific theme: Mexican // Italian // Arabic // International // Indian // Fish / Seafood // Greek. The juices were all delicious, fresh juices were also available in buckets for breakfast. What surprised me particularly positively were the cocktails and spirits: it was filled from bottles; there was everything and that for free! and everything tasted very good! On the beach you could get something to eat in between or at lunchtime if you were hungry: French fries, salads, chicken nuggets, fruit ... Frappé, freddo and ice chocolate were also offered free of charge. A pool bar was chargeable, at the other one you could also snack on rolls, fruit, biscuits and cakes. There was also a bar inside the hotel.

Der Service war Top. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, selbst wenn man eigentlich nicht wollte. Auf Englisch konnten so ziemlich alle sprechen. Ansonten waren auch Deutsch,-Russisch und Italienischkenntnisse vorhanden. An der Lobby gab es eine deutschsprachige Dame und eine russischsprachige Dame namens "Natia", diese möchte ich in den Zusammenhang insbesondere loben, da Sie mit Fragen, Wünschen und Beschwerden sehr offen, freundlich und zuvorkommend umging. Desweiteren möche ich auch die junge Dame Katarina loben, welche Angebote im Zusammenhang mit Massagen etc. anbietet. Wir hatten kein Beautyangebot wahrgenommen, aber Katarina war trotzdem immer sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit bei Fragen jeglicher Art! Weiterhin ist auch Marina, welche deutsch spricht, nähe der Strandbar sehr zu loben. Sie ist sehr freundlich. Weitere Personen welche ich unbedingt erwähnen möchte sind, von denen ich jedoch leider keinen Namen weiß sind: der Restaurantmanager, welcher wirklich ausgezeichnete Arbeit geleistet hatte! Immer sehr schnell, organisiert, souverän und solide und auch der meine ich allgemeine Manager, welcher persönlich Leute ansprach und gefragt hatte ob alles in Ordnung sei und sich wirklich um das Wohlergehen seiner Besucher bemüht hat. Ansonsten wurde man am Restaurant und in der Lobby abends immer begrüßt! English: The service was great. Rooms were cleaned every day, even if you really didn't want to. At the lobby there was a German-speaking lady and a Russian-speaking lady named "Natia", I would particularly like to praise them in this context, as they were very open, friendly and courteous with questions, requests and complaints. I would also like to praise the young lady Katarina, who offers services in connection with massages, etc. We hadn't taken advantage of any beauty offers, but Katarina was always very friendly, nice and helpful with questions of any kind! Furthermore, Marina, who speaks German, is close to the beach bar to be praised. She is very friendly. Other people I really want to mention are, of whom I unfortunately don't know a name: the restaurant manager, who really did an excellent job! Always very fast, organized, confident and solid and I also mean the general manager, who personally approached people and asked if everything was okay and really tried to ensure the well-being of his visitors. Otherwise you were always greeted at the restaurant and in the lobby in the evening!

Die Fahrt vom Flughafen Heraklion bis zum Hotel dauert ca. 10 Minuten. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem "Dorf" namens Kokkini Chani/Vathianos Kampos. Die nächstgrößere kleine (Stadt?) ist Gournes. Wer mehr sehen möchte sollte den Bus nach Heraklion nehmen (ca. 10-15 Minuten). Nahezu jede halbe Stunde fahren Busse nach Gournes, Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos... Busfahrpläne finden sich am Lobbyschalter. In näherer Umgebung finden sich 2 Souvenirläden. Wenn man etwas weiter geht findet sich eine kleine Kirche, ein Supermarkt, eine Apotheke, Tavernen... English: The drive from Heraklion Airport to the hotel takes about 10 minutes. The hotel is located in a "village" called Kokkini Chani / Vathianos Kampos. The next bigger small (town?) Is Gournes. Those who want to see more should take the bus to Heraklion (approx. 10-15 minutes). There are buses to Gournes, Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos almost every half hour ... Bus timetables can be found at the lobby desk. There are 2 souvenir shops in the vicinity. If you go a little further you will find a small church, a supermarket, a pharmacy, taverns ..

• Strand

Die Freizeitangebote waren gut. Es gab 2 Animatoren. Es befand sich ein Fitnessraum im Hotel welchen man mieten konnte; Wellnessangebote und die Möglichkeit Tischtennis, Tennis oder Volleyball zu spielen. Gelegentlich wurden auch Wasserspiele im großen Pool angeboten. Eine Animatorin führte ca. 3x am Tag ebenda Wassergymnastik durch. Jeden Tag gab es eine Kinderdisco, ich meine auch einen Kinderclub und eine Art "Gamingcenter" mit Automaten etc... Jeden Tag wurde auch eine Abendshow angeboten (Zaubershow; Akrobatikshow; Griechischer Abend; Live-Musik..) Es befanden sich insgesamt 4 Pools auf dem Territorium des Hotels: 1x großer Pool mit Meerwasser aufgefüllt; 1x herzförmiger Pool; 1x kleiner Pool verbunden mit einem Rutschenkomplex und 1x Kinderlandschaft mit Rutschen...
