HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL

Natura Park Village Hotel & Spa having our customers and staff best interest and safety in mind has put in effect a health and safety protocol and have trained all the staff of every department and service of the hotel according to the regulations of the protocol.


INTRODUCTION

We established a cooperation with healthcare provider or an expert physician which acts according the guidelines of National Organization of Health for the control and treatment of COVID-19
We have developed procedures and practices concerning cleaning and disinfecting focusing on the high risk surfaces of spreading the virus. All procedures use certified products of Chlorine Dioxide (CIO2). As well as keeping all other measures of spreading the COVID-19 virus.


RECEPTION DESK AREA

All personal has been trained on keeping the measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19.

We have installed stations which dispense disinfectant to be used by customers.

Frequent disinfecting of all the surfaces of the reception desk with certified products containing Chlorine Dioxide (CIO2)

Reforming the reception area. Special floor signing which is at 2 meters from the reception desk so the customer knows where to stand. Signs in the reception area reminding guests to keep the required distances. Proper positioning of the furniture so the line is manageable and efficient.

Avoiding crowds gathering at the reception area and keeping the required distances.

Disinfecting the key cards and keys with certified products containing Chlorine Dioxide or UV devices.

Reforming the check out and check in in between the use of the rooms. (Check out will be at 11:00 am and check in will be open from 15:00) This way it is ensured that in between the stay of different guests the room will be cleaned and disinfected meticulously and it will be aired sufficiently.

Club Cars : The club cars will be disinfected from the driver after each use with certified products containing Chlorine Dioxide.

The collecting and transport of the guest’s luggage will be carried out from the reception staff(Porter) with the approval of the guest or from the guest in person. The staff handling the luggage( Porter) has been training in keeping all necessary regulations for not spreading the COVID-19 virus.

Before the transfer the luggage will be disinfected from the staff or the guest if he or she desires with certified products specific for this use containing Chlorine Dioxide which will be available in a visible spot in front of the hotel entrance.

Having as our primary concern the health and safety of our guests. We kindly ask for their understanding for any delays that may occur on the transport of the luggage as we always aim to keep the necessary regulations during our services


PUBLIC AREAS

We would like to ensure our guests that in our hotel we take all the necessary measures for the antibacterial cleaning and disinfecting of the public spaces.

All our public spaces are frequently being disinfected with Chlorine Dioxide and anti-bacterial products certified by the Greek government.

Twice per day we apply deep steam cleaning which reaches 100C in all the surfaces that the guest can come in contact with and we complete our disinfecting process with UV light devices.

Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of the elevators focusing in the surfaces that can be touched (handles,buttons) with certified products containing Chlorine Dioxide.

Installed stations which offer antiseptic liquid for the disinfection of the hands in all public areas for example the reception area, public WC etc.

Informing the guests to avoid using the public areas in case they feel sick.

Informing the guests to avoid using the elevators. Installing disinfecting stations at the entrance of the elevator and insisting on the use of them while going in or coming out of the elevator.

HOUSEKEEPING

The staff has been trained in keeping all regulations and measures of not spreading the COVID-19 virus and also has been trained in the proper use of the cleaning products which are available to them in order to keep our guests safe.

In every departure of a guest from a room we will follow a three step disinfecting procedure which is as follows.

1. Before housekeeping starts the housekeeping supervisor enters the room and disinfects the rooms with the a UV device for 5 minutes. This method has been certified for killing all viruses. This way the cleaning staff that will enter the room will be safe during the cleaning procedure.
2. After completing the first faze the cleaning staff always complying with the safety regulations (mask,gloves)will continue with the cleaning of all the surfaces of the room with disinfectant and anti-bacterial products containing Chlorine Dioxide certified by the Greek government.
3. The cleaning and disinfecting of the room is completed with the application of concentrated hot steam of 100C in all the textile surfaces and the WC.


Airing the room between stays in a sufficient time frame.

The room will not be cleaned regularly except after the guest’s request.

The linen and towels will not be changed except after the guest’s request.

There will be individual packaged bottles of antiseptic liquid in every room.

Keeping up with all regulations concerning the collection of the dirty linen and towels from the staff using all regulation personal protection equipment.

Frequent checks of laundry operation making sure the temperature exceeds 70C and the dosology of the products.

Collecting all dirty linen and towels in special closed bags to be transported for laundry service.

Separating the location of clean and dirty linen with proper signs to avoid cross contamination.

Disinfecting of the trolleys which carry the bags of dirty linen after every use with certified products containing Chlorine Dioxide.

Washing all linen in a temperature of 70C.

Special care for transporting linen for use or for storage.


KITCHEN – PREPARATION AREA


The staff has been trained to comply with all the regulations against the spread of COVID-19 and disinfect their hands in frequent intervals.

In all areas that food is being prepared the disinfecting will be carried out as follows.

1. Disinfecting the area of food preparation every 2 hours with the use of UV light devices.
2. Disinfecting all surfaces of food preparation from the staff with products certified from the Greek government containing Chlorine Dioxide and every 3 hours with hot concentrated steam over 70C


Control and keeping up with HACCP standards.

All incoming products to will be handled from the staff using all the personal protection equipment.

All staff must keep the safe distance from each other inside the kitchen according to the regulation of the health and safety organizations.

Checking the temperature of the dishwasher making sure it operates over 70C as well as for the proper dosology of the products used.


FOOD SERVICES ON BUFFET

The staff has been trained on keeping up all regulations and prevention steps of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

Disinfecting their hands with antiseptic gel in frequent intervals

The disinfection of the restaurant area before the service and after the service is as follows:

1. Disinfecting the area of the restaurant with UV light devices
2. Disinfecting all surfaces of the buffet with anti-bacterial and antiviral products certified by the Greek government containing Chlorine Dioxide
3. Disinfecting all furniture using hot concentrated steam over 70C
4. Washing of all table linen as well as all utensils in over 70C temperature.
5. All table linen as well as utensils are changed for every guest.
6. Reforming the hours that the restaurant in open during meals giving the guests more time to enjoy their meal while keeping up with all regulations of safety against the spread of COVID-19
7. Disinfecting station in the entrance for the buffet and staff will be checking to make sure that guests are using it.
8. Keeping safe distances while getting served at the buffet
9. The service at the buffet will be done only by the staff of the restaurant which will be using all necessary personal protection equipment.
10. The service from the various dispensers like coffee or beer dispensers will be done only from the staff of the restaurant which will be using all necessary personal protection equipment.



POOLS AND POOL AREAS

Strict control and abidance with the regulations of disinfecting all pool waters.

Control of the levels of chrorium while the pools or hydro massage are operating. Every 4 hours for the pools and every 1 hour for the hydro massage.

Frequent control of the pH levels every 8 hours while the pools are operating and at least every 2 hours for the hydro massage.

The maximum number of guests in the pool will not exceed the limit of 1 guest per 5 square meters of water surface.

It is recommended informing the guests with signs for the use of the shower before and after the use of the pool.

The formation and distance for the sunbeds must be that the distance of between 2 guests that are not staying in the same room is at least 2 meters.

After every guest the sunbed is disinfected.
