Es war schon etwas ruhig Mitte Oktober, das Personal schien ausgepowert von der Saison. Uns war das ganz recht, wir wollten nur nochmal raus und Sonne tanken. Zimmer sauber aber bei weitem keine 5 Sterne. Eine gesamte Auffrischung/Renovierung würde dem Hotel nicht schaden, es ist alles schon ziemlich veraltet. Waren vor 17 Jahren zum letzten mal auf Kreta und hatten den Eindruck, dass seitdem auch nichts in Modernisierung und Fortschritt investiert wurde. Das betrifft das Hotel an sich wie auch das gesamte Umfeld. Abseits Müll und Unrat. Türknauf im Bad kaputt, Toilettenspülung lief ununterbrochen, Toilettendeckel defekt ..trotz mehrfacher Hinweise ans Personal erfolgte keine Ausbesserung. Die Betten waren hart und ungemütlich und in den 7 Nächten leider auch nicht einmal frisch bezogen. Service leider auch nur mittelmäßig. Zwar sind alle vom Personal freundlich, aber es macht auch keiner einen Handgriff zuviel. Die Aussicht entschädigt für alles, traumhafter Blick aufs Meer von den meisten Punkten im Hotel hat man immer wieder eine wunderbare Sicht über die Bucht. Essen ist lecker, abwechslungsreich und frisch zubereitet. WLAN sehr langsam und nur zeitweise möglich, im Zimmer gar nicht.

Our beloved Guests, First of all we would like to thank you that you had been chosen our CHC 5* Seaside Resort & Spa for your last holidays. In addition we appreciate a lot that you got the time to write your review for us in the site. We also appreciate a lot your feedback about your satisfaction of quality and variety of food we offer in our Resort restaurants. We have to state that we receive a great feedback for our great staff-services and high quality of food and drinks from thousands of our Resort clients every day. We are a bit surprised to read your review especially about your impression got after 17 years coming back to Crete. It is common known that the last 20 years especially the Touristic investments are exploded in Crete. As far as the Resort maintenance concerned although the complaint is vague, we inform you that our Resort is well and constantly maintained. In summer time when the Resort is in operation the maintenance personnel is in alert to face and fix immediately any arisen/reported problem. In the winter time our maintenance personnel make their job with great responsibility and care in order to deliver our Resort ready on all sides, to clients in the next touristic season. We have to apology for any inconveniences caused you due to any defect in your bathroom, but we assure you that now checking our Reception and Guest Relation reports we didn’t find any announced defect of yours. We have to inform you that our services are certified by TUV Austria for HACCP and most our Resort reviews are excellent. Referring the mattresses we have to state that we had changed most of them this year, are new and comfortable. Our Resort is in operation only 10 years long and had been built partly in the 10 years period. Manny of the rooms are less than three years built. But anyway you could ask to be replaced your mattress with another one. Our housekeeping department has always a right solution for such request, which we didn’t receive of yours. Referring the WIFI connection, we are sorry to say but it is not the responsibility of the Resort. We actually have a good connection but in case we don’t have, that can happen due to exterior frequencies. Additionally we never provided WIFI in the rooms. We offer free WIFI at our Reception lobby and all around common departments at our Resort surrounding. Concerning your notices about some rubbish probably far away-anywhere around, we actually agree with you but we are not allowed to collect anything from foreign properties. Crete is the biggest Greek island. We can’t take its cleanness on our Resort responsibility; therefore you are unjust with us on this matter. As your graduation in not the one we expected concerning your own satisfaction for our Resort facilities and services, we would appreciate a lot to have the sensitiveness to reestablish with the best one graduation. We will be very glad to allow us welcoming you at our CHC 5* Seaside Resort & Spa for any of your future holidays.
