Hotel Mareo Dolomites

We had this time a different room but it was like the two times before, very clean and cozy. It had a very nice balcony were we could sit and take some sun or enjoy the St. Vigil view. Breakfast was good, with hard boiled eggs, different types of regional cold meats and wholemeal, mutligrain and white bread. Different cereals, a fruit salad and yogurt. A bowl with fresh south Tyrol apples was always there. If you wanted an omelette or sunny side up eggs you only needed to ask. Dinner was like always a delight! Salad buffet and 4 course menu. Very nice presented plates with normal portions. Please note: The portions weren´t huge like in many other places but we were always more than satisfied. I thinks it´s more quality than quantity and that was great! This time were more germans there, than the first time. Mostly middle age couples or older . Young italian couples and middle aged.

T.V, a sitting ares with two chairs and a couch, telephone and safe. The furniture was typical from South Tyrol with very nice colors. Very cozy and clean.

There´s one big room and a smaller one were you can have breakfast and dinner. A lounge and a bar in one. Very cozy with lots of wood and typical furnace. The food was great like everytime we´ve been there: great! Typical South Tyrol food. The prices for the drinks and wine are fair and the quality very good.

It was our third time there and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

There are lots of great routes to walk, with distance signs almost everywhere. It was still very sunny and warm at this time of the year.

There´s a sauna and a steam bath and deckchairs. Everything was very clean and made a very good impression. From the sauna you have a very nice view to St. Vigil.
