Dear Hans Jürgen , We thank you for taking some of your free time to post a review about Dimitrios Village Beach Resort on Holidaycheck. We were really happy to read that you were satisfied from the service from all our hotel staff. About paying the sunbeds on the beach (because the sunbeds on swimming pools are free) this is because they belong to the Municipality of Rethymno city. About the stones on the beach, this is why -when is windy there are big waves and they bring new stones to the front of all the beach. Is is a natural sea event and even if we try to remove them, new stones appear every single time. About the small swimming pools, yes, you are correct but this is because we have direct access to the beach.
