Das Hotel ist sehr abgewohnt und Renovierungsbedürftig. Das Personal war sehr arrogant, und es hat in der Regel eine Ewigkeit gedauert bis man sein Getränk bekam. Die Einrichtung war total verschlissen, die Polstermöbel waren teilweise mit aufgerissenen Kissen versehen. Der Kinderclub war ein Witz! Die Kinder wurden jeden Tag mit ausmalen beschäftigt. Ist ja klar, da hat man als Animateur auch am wenigsten zu tun. Der Strand war voller Steine, meine Füße tun immer noch weh, also nichts von wegen Sandstand! Auch der Weg zum Hotel war echt klasse, man musste von der Straße aus, die Koffer ca. 300 Meter selbst zum Hotel und wieder zurück bringen. Fazit: Nie wieder! Ein Gast mit dem ich mich unterhalten habe formulierte es ganz schön: „Von den vier Sternen haben die wohl 2 auf dem Meeresgrund entdeckt.“

Dear Norbert, At first, we would like to thank you for taking some of your free time to review Dimitrios Village Beach Resort on Holidaycheck. We were so sorry to understand that you didn't like your vacation with us. Every single year, parts of our hotel are being renovated, but is not all yet. We were so surprised to read that you were not happy with the service by the bar. Usually we have only positive comments for our hotel staff, like how friendly and helpfull they are. We apologize if you didn't feel the same way. About the 150m from the main road to our hotel, that is because the street is too narrow for the bus to go all the way to our hotel entrance and that is why all our guests have to walk the same way you did. At the top of the street we have trolleys, that you could have taken...We are sorry that you didn't probably see them and make your coming and going to our hotel much easier. About the stones to the beach. When is windy (which is very often, as Crete is an island), there are many waves at the sea, that bring new stones, every single time. We try to remove as many stones as possible but it is a natural event and happens all the time. Did you have a look by our hotel mini market or any other tourist shop, for the special sea-shoes? That could have made your walking to the beach much easier. We also felt sorry to read that you were not happy by the animation team. Normally we only had positive comments as well of how much they interract with kids and how many different activities they did. At least all children had so much fun with the animation team.
