Today, Dhawa Ihuru is a mid-scale five-star resort, the youngest of the Banyan Group properties in the Maldives, offering a more contemporary, casual, and comfortable experience. Our concept is designed for guests who like to call the shots—we are vibrant, stylish, and experience-driven, catering to savvy, independent travelers. At the same time, we consciously maintain an authentic Maldivian island vibe, blending modern comfort with local culture. Much of our design and hardware is locally sourced and intentionally crafted with a natural, lived-in look. Some elements may appear slightly aged or worn by design, as this approach reflects the character of the island, sustainability values, and a genuine sense of place rather than polished formality. Our pricing is carefully benchmarked against resorts of the same category within the atoll, and we strive to provide competitive value across accommodation, dining, services, and facilities, often at rates lower than many comparable competitors.
