Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and all the comments written. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration. However, please allow us to offer you some explanation on the above-mentioned points of your review. Firstly, please allow us to clarify that the resort is located 25km from the international airport of Heraklion which means that id takes about 25-30 minutes to arrive driving. There is a highway connecting Heraklion with Hersonissos and the resort can easily been reached. As your review refers to a 2017 stay, we would like to mention that, in the context of our renovation plans, all our rooms are now renovated, while the room types have also been changed. As you did not mention your room number or the name and surname of your reservation, we can assume that you had booked and were accommodated in a Classic Sea View room, which according to our 2017 rooms’ description was located at the upper side of the resort, either at the Terra building or at the bungalow, offering a view to the sea and it is not renovated. The aforementioned facts were mentioned in our 2017 rooms’ description, as well as they were published on our website, while we have been also informing our guests about them through our cooperating tour-operators, in order to avoid misunderstandings. Moreover, we can assure you that real images of each one of our room types are displayed on our website since its creation. Furthermore, as it was mentioned in all our brochures and descriptions, in 2017 a mini bar was only offered in Deluxe Rooms and Suites and was filled only upon arrival. In case a guest preferred this service on a daily basis, it could have been offered with an extra fee and upon request as happened in our case. Allow us to mention that following the feedback of our guests we have modified this service, and now the mini bar is offered for free in all room types upon arrival. In continuing, we would like to note that since 2017 we have revised our bar menus and now our guests may enjoy 100% international branded spirits (Gordon’s gin, Absolute vodka, Sierra tequila, Ballantine’s whisky, Baileys liqueur, Malibu liqueur, Martini, Olmeca tequila liquer, Pimm’s etc.) and to choose among popular and signature cocktails (Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Mojito, Daquiri etc.), all included in our All-Inclusive offer. Lastly, we would like to clarify that Creta Maris Beach Resort is located in an area of 150,000 sq.m.,and offers two Main Buildings and one Bungalow area. Each of the aforementioned areas offers to the guests the possibility to choose their location for a perfect holiday i.e. to be located in Maris Building next to the sea and the main facilities, in Terra Building next to the kids’ club, the waterpark and the open-air cinema, or to be located in the Bungalows, which reminds, according to the majority of our guests, a small Greek village .
