VOIhotels adopted the safety protocols suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) and it created a Security Protocol already operational in the Resorts: SAFE WITH VOI.
This Protocol is built around 5 steps, all equally necessary and rigorously carried out, which guarantee the efficacy of the protection actions and at the same time make the holiday in VOIhotels still authentically Italian.

1. SANITIZING
For the rooms new sanitization procedures at each guest change, use of linen from certified laundry and sanitization of all room surfaces and textiles. On request, luggage sanitization at guests’ arrival.
In common areas periodic and adequate ventilation of the premises, cleaning and sanitization of tables, chairs and sunbeds on the beach or swimming pool after each use, certified through the “guarantee tag”.
2. DISTANCING
Online check-in before the arrival in hotel, for a better management of people flow in the reception area. Customers must still go to reception desk for their identification and to give consent to the personal data processing.
Common spaces expanded, adequate distances between sunbeds/sun umbrellas at the beach and swimming pool with access control, to avoid social gatherings. Tables and chairs at the adequate distances at bars and restaurants and waiter service.
3. COMMUNICATION
In all the internal and external areas of the resort some panels with simple and intuitive descriptions remind and suggest suitable and safe behaviors to enjoy the holiday. Employees are trained by professionals in the safety sector.
4. PROTECTING
The Covid Manager is available to guests to explain procedures and clarify doubts. Within its staff there is a doctor and specially trained staff.
Hand sanitizing stations are being installed in common areas for guests and staff, protective masks for all the staff and constant body temperature check carried out before each shift.
5. ENJOYING
At bars and restaurants expanded schedules and spaces between the tables, reformulation of menus according to the new service mode. Instead of a breakfast buffet, guests will be served with à la carte service.
