Das Legian Beach Hotel ist ein schon etwas älteres Hotel aber sehr gut erhalten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in einem Gartenbungalow. Der Garten ist schön grün und gut gepflegt. Die Zimmer bzw. Bungalows an der Straßenseite (Jalan Melasti) sind etwas beeinträchtigt vom Straßenlärm. Vom Flughafen einfach beim Taxischalter ein (Fixpreis-Taxi) nehmen, kostet umgerechnet ca. 5 €. Zurück hatten wir eins mit Taximeter, kostete ca. 4,5 €. Das Hotels hat zwei Pools, beide mit angenehmer Größe, einer mit integrierter Poolbar. Frühstücksbuffet wird im großen Restaurantbereich mit Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Meerblick angeboten, große Auswahl und sehr gut. Die Restaurants haben auch mittags und abends geöffnet, Preisniveau europäisch, zur Qualität kann ich nichts sagen. Zwischen dem Hotel und dem Strand befindet sich nur die (unbefahrene) Strandpromenade, also Lage quasi direkt am Strand. Am Strand wird von den unzähligen lokalen Händlern alles mögliche angeboten. Wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte, sollte man sich eher im Hotelbereich aufhalten. Alles in allem kann man das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Dear Gernot, thank you for your review and recommendation at holidaycheck.com. The Hotel is located almost on the Beach you just have to cross the 5 meter wide non Traffic paved walkway which is located at the Hotels Beach front Entrance. This non Traffic walkway is open for the local Beach Supplier with their Motorcycles only in the morning and in the evening to set up and break down their belongings. Sometimes the walkway is used for Balinese ceremonies which continue on the Beach. This ceremonies are a big attraction for our Guest, as they can see the colorful processions passing by directly at the Hotels Beach front.
