Sehr elegantes Hotel, hübsch aufbereitet, freundliches, aber übermäßig aufdringliches Personal! Zimmer mit Sea View, auf der einen Seite kann man das Meer erahnen und schaut über Ackerland und Straße, auf der anderen Seite, schaut man über eine tote, zugemüllte Baustelle ,über eine Straße, hat dort aber einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang! Auf dem Balkon ist es aG direkter Sonneneinstrahlung kaum auszuhalten! Frühstück ist ok, für jeden etwas dabei, bei 2 Wochen Aufenthalt, zu einfältig und null Abwechslung! Alles standardisiert und immer gleiches Angebot! Insgesamt einfach viel zu überteuert für das, was geboten wird, wobei ich die Hoteleigenen Baumaßnahmen (Erweiterung) während unseres Aufenthalts, mit tagtäglicher Lärmbelästigung und der Sperrung des Cuvee Restaurants, noch nicht einmal erwähnt habe! Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht!

While we are pleased that you appreciated the elegance of the hotel and the beautiful sunsets, we are naturally disappointed to learn that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. As a small luxury boutique hotel, personalized and attentive service is at the heart of what we do. While we understand that preferences vary, the genuine care and engagement of our team is something many of our guests particularly value and return for year after year. In fact, what you describe as "overly attentive" is often regarded by our guests as one of Aqua Blu’s greatest strengths and a hallmark of the personalized hospitality that distinguishes us from larger resort properties, where anonymity is often the norm. Regarding the culinary experience, we would like to clarify that Cuvee Restaurant remained in operation throughout your stay, with the exception of Mondays when we host our weekly BBQ event. In addition, our breakfast offering includes an extensive à la carte menu alongside a varied buffet of freshly prepared specialties and handmade delicacies, while both of our restaurants are known for their high-quality cuisine. Regarding your comment on pricing, we respectfully hold a different perspective. Aqua Blu is a small luxury boutique hotel offering spacious suite accommodation, personalized service, award-winning dining, premium facilities, and one of the highest percentages of returning guests on the island. We continuously benchmark our rates both locally and internationally to ensure we remain highly competitive within our market segment. Naturally, perceptions of value differ from guest to guest, and we are sorry that on this occasion we did not meet your expectations. The construction activity you mention concerned the final stages of our new beachfront restaurant and bar project, an exciting addition that will soon further enhance the guest experience at Aqua Blu. We appreciate that any temporary disruption can be frustrating and sincerely thank our guests for their patience during this period. We are delighted to say that the project is now nearing completion and is eagerly anticipated by both our loyal guests and the local community. Finally, while we cannot influence every aspect of the surrounding area beyond our property boundaries, we are fortunate to offer unobstructed sea views, spectacular sunsets, and a peaceful setting away from the busier parts of Kos Town.
