We had these pleasant experiences during our 3-month winter stay: We suffered from daily construction work on the roof covering of the terrace. Continuous and never ending work during our stay. The bright sunshine prevents you from staying inside or outside. We made to buy a parasol. There are no blinds in the living room. Reading, watching TV and working on the computer are impossible. When we moved in, we discovered that the shower fixing was torn out of the wall and the faucet on the bathroom sink was hanging loose. The hallway lamp was hanging out of its fastening, 3 kitchen cabinet doors were hanging off their hinges. No attempts were made to repair. I had to fix it on my own, besides other things we had to buy to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Pool icy water, no heated pool as offered in winter. The so-called " world-wide " TV-Network had continuous failures. Self-cooking is very limited. There is a complete chaos in the management team. The General Manager, a former receptionist at a Melia Hotel, seems to have no capability to do his job, not knowing anything about maintenance and supervision. The owner always gets involved. No maintenance upkeep. The appearance of this apartment is deceptive. I threatened with a rent reduction, which is anybody's rights according to EU law. No reaction at all. The General Manager hesitates to act, does not take responsibility. Another advice: Never book any of these apartments with a British Agent, extremely overpriced and the Booking Contract will be dealt with by the courts of England.
