Farmhouse on the Top of the Hills of Nobile Wine The Cascina Bricchetto farmhouse can be found at Trezzo Tinella (Cn) about 10 Km from Alba and 3 km about Barbaresco. It is a traditional Le Langhe stone farmhouse, that is probably the oldest in the county, warm in winter and fresh in the summer. It is situated at the top of a hill surrounded by vines and hazelnut groves, at an altitude of about 550 meters. The view is awesome; a sequence of hills overlooked by the Monviso and the Monte Rosa massif. The hills are covered by precious vineyards and hazel groves. Should you like to enjoy not only the beauty and peace of the Cascina, but also the most striking artistic and historical expressions of the area, just a few kilometer away you can reach the reknowned Castles of Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Govone, Alfieri, Novello, Verduno, etc. The town of Alba with its medieval towers, the old arcades, and the museums, is about 10 Km far. Regarded as the "capital of the Langhe", the town hosts very famous events, such as: Vinum – presentation and tasting of the wines of the area, and of the most typical local products” (Spring);“Market-exhibition of the white truffle of the Langhe and the Roero”, joyned by a sequence of events both cultural and enogastronomical.
