Wir besuchten im Kosciuszki-Park die aus Holz gebaute Erzengel St. Michael Kirche. Die 1510 erbaute Kirche war im Dorf Syryia (Syrin) errichtet als Markuskirche. 1938 wurde sie Kirche nach Kattowitz umgesetzt. Die Kirche sollte das erste Gebäude für eine nicht realisiertes Freilichtmuseum werden. Der freistehende Kirchturm ist aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Holzkanzel mit den Schnitzereien.
