The location is perfect for a nice getaway. You can go on day trips to Munich, Regensburg and Ingolstadt among other towns/cities in the vicinity. The rooms in the Chalet are more modern and refurbished while the rooms in the Schloss are clearly older. However, that is totally normal for a building 500+ years old and even adds to the whole vibe and atmosphere. We had dinner at the hotel every day - loved the food a lot - and the service of the staff was exceptional. There is a small wellness area as well, which is super cozy and comforting. There were events happening almost every night, which we would love to try on another occasion. On that note, it is recommendable to check out the events at the Schloss in advance (special dinner themes, dance events, etc.). We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and come back if we have the opportunity. Many thanks to the staff who made our stay unforgettable!
