Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschön eingewachsenen Garten mit einigen hohen Bäumen. Es blüht überall. Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war schon fertig.
Die Zimmer und der Balkon sind angenehm groß. Die Dusche hat immer funktioniert.
Das Essen ist lecker. Fisch ist hervorragend.
Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn etwas fehlt (sei es Seife, Handtücher), wird es schnellstmöglich gebracht.
Die Anfahrt zum Hotel dauert ca 1 1/4 h und man fährt richtig durch Afrika. Mangos, Avocados, Bananen hängen an den Bäumen, die Menschen laufen oder fahren mit dem Rad am Straßenrand und überall sind Autos, Vespas, Kleinbusse, ...

Die Poolanlagen sind sehr schön und großzügig. Leider darf man sie nur bis 18.30 Uhr benutzen. Die schönste Bar von der aus man auch direkt aufs Meer schauen kann, wird ebenfalls bereits um 17.00 Uhr geschlossen. Es gab teilweise beim Essen Life-Music, die melodisch aber zu laut war.

Dear Maria, Thank you for taking the time to post your lovely review of Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort. It's a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us! The kitchen team was particularly happy to hear how much you liked the food and I liked hearing that if we'd made mistakes we fixed them quickly. I am sorry about the bar closing times. We have since fixed those to keep the bars open until the sun sets, about 6:30pm. Unfortunately we are unable to change the times that the pool closes. That's done for safety reasons and is not something we think should be changed. We've also addressed the volume of the music, unfortunately that sometimes comes down to the person with their hand on the switch, but the staff have been reminded that it should be heard any further away than the volleyball court and the team checks more often to ensure they are adhering to that distance.
