Mövenpick Waterpark Resort & Spa Soma Bay

the rooms need sanitation, especially the dusch and bath tabs. and when I book a Deluxe Suite for 4 persons and arrive to find only one king bed for two people I had to ask for extra two beds and the master bedroom was without a door which I couldn't understand at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hotel is in Soma Bay and has a lovely sandy private beach, but it isn't worth being a 5 stars hotel. It's in a district area away from any shopping area, so I would only suggest going there for water sports. The service there is not the best. lack of many facilities and room accessories. it is not luxurious as it seems to be on the internet. and what I lately knew is that it doesn't belong to the mövenpic chains anymore and doesn't go under any supervision. The showers were dirty. the hotel is old and needs sanitation. all hand disinfection and soap dispensers were not working and were empty. a big sew cover in the aquapark next to the kid's pool was left widely open!!!! the soft drinks there are not the best. The big pool in the Aqua park was dirty and the water was turbid. They need to stop using the local cheap market brand and get better brands of food and drinks. lizards were everywhere. the elevator's doors are not safe at all. it has no safety sensors and always smelled like GAS. The food wasn't the best experience and needs to cook different cuisines during the week. Fish was the worst thing to eat in the main restaurant. I thought I ll have the best vacation of my life but I had a big disappointment during my 8-night stay there. I would never come back and would never suggest it as well. I wanted to leave from the first day but unfortunately, all the other hotels were fully booked.
