Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal

Vorab muss ich sagen,dass ich sowohl durch meinen Job als Pilot als auch privat sehr viel in der Welt unterwegs bin und schon in vielen Hotels übernachtet hab.Diesesmal war ich mit meiner Freundin im Bahia Principe Akumal(das Luxury lass ich mal weg denn keine Ahnung wo das gewesen sein soll :)) und es war mit Abstand das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich seit langem war.Abgesehen davon,dass es Tierquälerei vom allerfeinsten ist,wenn man Delphine in nem Becken hält,das nicht mal halb so gross wie der Pool ist,ist das für mich ein Grund nie wieder dieses Hotel zu buchen.Fände es super,wenn nur ein paar Leute aufgrund dieser Tatsache dieses Hotel meiden würden,vermute aber,dass das nicht viele Interessieren dürfte. Ich bin wirklich kein sehr anspruchsvoller Hotelgast,solange es sauber ist und der Service einigermaßen passt bin ich schon zufrieden,aber das Bahia Principe Akumal hat nichtmal diese zwei Punkte erfüllt.Der Check-in war sehr unfreundlich und der Typ hatte anscheinend nicht sehr viel Spass an seinem Job :).In unserem Zimmer waren Unmengen an kleinen Babytierchen,keine Ahnung ob es kleine Spinnen oder Ameisen waren und auch im Bett ist irgendwas gekrabbelt.Wie gesagt ich bin echt tierlieb aber da hört die Liebe auf ;).Abends beim Essen haben wir jedesmal über 15 Minuten auf einen Kellner gewartet der unsere Getränkebestellung aufgenommen hat,auch ist es egal wenn man etwas ohne Eis bestellt,es ist eh immer drin (und ich spreche Spanisch und hab auch so bestellt :)).Essen war übrigens auch sehr oft nur noch lauwarm.Von den Amis und Kanadiern will ich gar nichts sagen, für die ist es halt wie für uns der Ballermann,die fliegen da nur paar Stunden hin und machen ne Woche Hardcore Party.Strand ist auch nicht gerade das was ich sonst von Mexico so kenne,aber das kann man ja sehr gut auf den Fotos oder auf Google Maps sehen.Wer wirklich einen schönen Mexico Urlaub verbringen möchte,sollte lieber ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben und ins Grand Palladium Kantenah,Iberostar Paraiso Lindo,Ocean Coral y Turquesa oder Riu Tequilla gehn.War schon in den Hotels und es ist wirklich ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht.Klar, wenn man zum ersten mal in Mexico ist und noch keine anderen Hotels gesehen hat,dann findet man dieses Hotel vielleicht gar nicht so schlecht,ist es aber ;(. Negativ : -Delphine werden in einem Minipool gehalten -Personal bis auf paar wenige völlig unmotiviert -Kleine Tierchen im Zimmer -Bad dreckig -Strand nicht schön -Essen mittelmäßig -bisschen wie am Ballermann für Nordamerikaner -sehr weit vom Flughafen entfernt Positiv: -Nur paar Minuten mit Collectivo zu Cenote Dos Ojos und Tulum ....und sollte jetzt so eine Standardantwort vom Management kommen in dem sie immer schreiben "wir entschuldigen uns für die Unannehmlichkeiten und bla bla bla" dann könnt ihr mal sehen,dass sich in diesem Hotel niemand um die Belange der Gäste kümmert,sondern es ihnen nur darum geht möglichst viel Profit zu machen,das bekommt man leider überall zu spüren im Bahia Principe Akumal First of all, I have to say that both through my job as a pilot and privately, I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels. This time I was with my girlfriend in the Bahia Principe Akumal(i put the luxury away because i dont know where it was :)) and it was by far the worst hotel i have ever been in mexico.Apart from the fact that it is animal cruelty of the very best, if you keep dolphins in a pool that is not even half the size of the hotel pool, this is a reason for me to never book this hotel again. It would be great, if only a few people would avoid this hotel due to this fact, but i guess that not many people care about this. I'm really not a very discerning hotel guest, as long as it is clean and the service reasonably suits I am already satisfied, but the Bahia Principe Akumal did not even meet these two points. The check-in was very rude and the guy did not seem to have much fun at his job :) In our room were tons of small baby animals, no idea if it was small spiders or ants and also in our bed something was crawling. As I said i really love animals but there love stops;) In the evening at the dinner restaurant we always waited more than 15 minutes for a waiter who took our order for drinks, also it does not matter if you order something without ice, it was always in (and I speak Spanish and have ordered so too :)). Food was also almost cold when u came after 9pm to dinner.The beach is not what I know about this beautiful mexican beaches, but this you can see in the photos or on Google Maps. Who really wants to spend a nice Mexico vacation, should rather spend a few euros more and book Grand Palladium Kantenah, Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, Ocean Coral and Turquesa or Riu Tequilla i was already in this hotels and its really a difference like day and night. i always want to try something new thats why we tried the bahia this time,unfortunately we wasted a lot of money.of course,when you are in Mexico for the first time and have not seen any other hotels , then you might find this hotel nice, but it isnt; (. Negative: Dolphins are kept in a mini pool -Staff except for a few completely unmotivated - Small animals in the room -Bath dirty -Beach not nice -not the best food -very far from the airport -staff also enters your room even if u put the do not disturb on your door Positive: - Only a few minutes with Collectivo to Cenote Dos Ojos and Tulum WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYBODY. ....and if i should get a answer now from the management,in which they say "thank you for your review and we apologize for the inconvenience and bla bla bla" i will only tell you f..k you and keep your standard answer for yourself,you dont care about anybody of your guests :) :)
