Anlage ist spitze, auch die Zimmer schön groß, Balkon groß. Nur leider lässt das Essen sehr zu wünschen übrig für ein 5* Hotel. Wir würden dem Essen nur 3* geben. Es wurde auch zum Abendbrot nicht auf die Kleidung geachtet. Sehr sehr viele russische und bulgarische Staatsbürger!!!!!!! Es gibt keine spezielle Ecke für Diabetiker, Laktose- oder Glutenfrei, usw. Obst nur grüne Äpfel und Apfelsinen. Zum Frühstück Obst aus der Büchse!!!!!!! Taverne am Pool war zu unserer Zeit noch Baustelle. Animation und Disko war nicht vorhanden wie im Prospekt beschrieben. Sehr viele freilaufendende Katzen und Hunde, für ein 5* Hotel!!!!

Dear Mrs Ramona, thank you very much for your honest and detailed review. We are dedicating lots of effort every year to improve, so thank you for helping us with your constructive criticism. Regarding our food, our website doesn't state anywhere that there would be food for special health conditions, like diabetics and so on. Therefore, I do not think it's fair to accuse us of a service that we clearly do not offer anyway. We do accept special orders, as stated on our website, however, when it's done in advance. Website quote: "Vegetarian and vegan options are available at our Restaurant. We also accept special nutrition and meal plans, submitted in a timely manner. Requests made after guest arrival, will be dealt with on a case to case basis, depending on staff availability." http://www.alexandroshotel-halkidiki.com/facilities/restaurant/ I have been informed that our staff accommodated your needs, although there was no prior notice and cooked for your a la carte every day, gluten free pizza, pasta, handmade gluten free bread and so on. You also told them you were happy and content with the service, therefore I do not understand the reason of your complaint. Apart from that, there are 8 types of warm food on our evening buffet, most of it being meat. grilled, boiled, baked, cooked. There's also always steamed vegetables and other options, which accommodate a big part of the needs of vegetarian, vegan, lactose and gluten intolerant people. So even without our a la carte services, which we provided to you wholeheartedly and free of charge, there are plenty of buffet options for our other guests. Sadly, however, there is not much we can do about our clientele. It's multi-national and some customers happen to be from Russia, Bulgaria and other countries. Please understand that. Regarding the stray animals, please note that since the hotel is in the countryside, there are several shepherds and other people living in the premises. They often leave their animals unguarded and despite our multiple warnings, they fail to keep their animals within their properties. Also, the state of Greece has issues with stray animals and does nothing to take care of it. We respect and protect animals, so if they come, we cannot harm them.
