Allgemein
  • Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
    Schlecht

Dear Mr. Mattias, This comment is a reply to your bad comments during your stay to our resort and of course to whom - who will read this reply; you will find our answer specified as (VIVA) and your comments as (MATTIAS). Proof of Business : ✘(MATTIAS)The hotel is more than secluded in the middle of nowhere. • (VIVA) we are a resort (the word explains itself) our location is clearly marked in all brochures of all German tour operators, our web site and our Facebook too. Did you read what you are buying??. ✘ (MATTIAS) the electricity and hot water supply is not guaranteed throughout. • (VIVA) our resort located out of the city; we do not have electric city currents. We depend on our Gen sets and each 12 hours we switch to the other generator and that takes an eye blink (part of a second ) so what is annoying you to comment that?? and what is the story about water does it happen during your entire stay !! We call that allegation. ✘ (MATTIAS) Loose cables in the plant round off the not so nice picture. • (VIVA) those are not cables those are irrigation tubes for plantation - and we apologies if those small tubes hearted your eyes. ✘ (MATTIAS) The positive reviews on this hotel I cannot understand - I was already 3 times in Egypt and in very badly rated hotels - which were substantially better in all areas - especially in the gastronomy. • (VIVA) those are more than %90 of our guest's comments, it answers itself. Service: ✘ (MATTIAS) Here I am sorry to announce my disappointment. At the beginning of the week, the hotel was quite empty, the waiters were joking and tried hard. This changed in the course of the week, because the hotel was full, it was finally booked. • (VIVA) we really do not know how did you count the percentage the hotel was almost %82 to %85 during your stay from the 10 to 17th of September??. ✘ (MATTIAS) The waiters hardly came after, drinks often did not come or were simply not asked for drinks. The waiters were really motive - stress was not at all accustomed. A praise however goes to the bar / resp. Restaurant chef - this was always tried and friendly. Unfortunately, he does not have his employees under control - instead of looking for work, one should rather stand around and look into nowhere. First of all, I would also like to point out the negligence at the hotel bar, here seldom someone voluntarily behind the counter moved • (VIVA) If that is your comments and evaluation ,for sure we respect it but you should at least appreciate that we go and serve our guests in their places and tables not like other resorts dose in the Red Sea- they provide self service(means guests must go to pick up either the food or the beverage)!!. ✘ (MATTIAS) the positive reviews on this hotel I cannot understand. • (VIVA) We believe you should search for an answer yourself – WHY?. Gastronomy: ✘ (MATTIAS) The selection of food is very limited. I must actually say that it has been the worst buffet for years. The food is not only repeated every day - there is no theme at all - so change is not possible. • (VIVA) Mr. Mattias..we serve international kitchen beside one oriental buffet and one BBQ around the pool - our guests are happy with the choices ,quality and quantity and if you may have special taste why you did not talk to the head waiter , we always look to please our guests , big number of them are vegetarian's we prepare what they like! ✘ (MATTIAS) In the middle of the week, the hotel was swept as empty - the reason: every 2nd had stomach problems - and I must say such a thing I have never experienced in Egypt. I pointed out the shortcomings when checking out the deficiencies, but instead of apologizing, they went into the justification • (VIVA) Viva Blue has got highly qualified kitchen staff, most of them are hired from 5 star hotels, they know what food hygiene is – and they have certifications fulfilled for all HACCP food programs, therefore, the hint that the food is the cause of the symptoms of gastrointestinal problems - unacceptable – foreigners must face the fact that some of groups has got fragile stomach and the immune systems in their countries are completely different when they encounter another environment especially in warm countries like the Middle East and India for example, However, we do not deny the fact that some places in the Middle East do not follow the health requirements and HACCP programs, which we strictly follow with precision - because we care. ✘ (MATTIAS) there were many Russians here - they said it did not correspond to the truth and they liked it so I could not help it to say that Russian food looks different - however it is - who wants to lose weight - welcome :) • (VIVA) I do not know, where you have got this fantasies?? Mr. Mattias there is not a single Russian tourist in Egypt since the bad accident of the plane crash in south Sinai, and if you count one Czech couple is (a many Russians) I really have no comment!! Sport & Entertainment: ✘ (MATTIAS) besides diving and snorkeling, there are no offers from the hotel - no animation. • (VIVA) we provide oriental and belly dancing, live singer and Nubian shows so how could it be there is no entertainment? – Our resort is a chill out, diving and kiting concept so we do not have noisy animation staff; guests are coming to us to enjoy the nature. Viva Comments: We do not comment our guests but for this particular person (Mr. Mattias), we have to comment what he wrote: - You are single young person so you should choose what suits your personality and aspirations in the place you are willing to spend your holiday. - You did not go through the resort fact sheet, and I think you made wrong choice – so do not get revenge from our resort by posting bad comments and face your choices, management and staff of Viva resort are working very hard to provide and maintain good service to their guests, so I really recommend you in your future holidays to read carefully what you are buying. Regards, Ibrahim Mounir GM Viva Blue Resort
