Van der Valk Hotel Emmeloord

We made use of an "autumn deal" at a very attractive price. Check-in at reception was good and fast. Our room was nice and large with a good sized bathroom. Good breakfast although I don't like bake-off rolls but you see them everywhere. Although we had booked a comfort room, we missed some comfort. There was no minibar, no coffee-tea facilities, no tissues in the bathroom and the temperature of the room could not be regulated individually. It was really too cold in the bathroom. These are some minor points that do not fit the bill for a 4-star hotel. We paid a fair price because of the deal, but the normal price is too expensive for what you get.
