Klimaanlage tropfte, Minibar war leer, Getränke mussten von der Bar mit ins Zimmer genommen werden, Kopfkissen schimmelig Es wurde aber ordentlich geputzt.

Dear Beatrix, Thank you for taking the time to post your review of Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort. We're very sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your stay. I trust that your air conditioning unit was repaired promptly. We show two reports of dripping ac's recently, both repaired within an hour but the names don't match yours from this review. I was also sorry that there was a misunderstanding regarding the fridges in the rooms. They are listed as mini-fridges rather than minibars for just that reason, they are never stocked but guests are welcome to take whatever they wish from the bars to keep in them during their stay. Although we did have one pool that we had to lower the water level to find a leak, we do have three other full size pools. The leak is now repaired and all four pools back to their full depth but I'm sorry that added to your disappointment. I also noted your comment regarding the pillows being moldy but I have been through the rooms with our Housekeeping Team and there are no pillows that have mold on them. Unfortunately when they were in storage while we were closed for construction it was the rainy season in Zanzibar and there were a number that got some mildew on them. Although they have been washed with chemicals agents to ensure there is no mold, the marks remain. But the pillows smell fresh and are clean. I'm sorry again that you didn't enjoy your stay with us except for the beach. Should you be returning to Zanzibar, please contact me directly.
