Sambani Lodge hotel is has 19 rooms, split into 6 chalets. Nearly all rooms are ensuite, with some having a connecting door and shared bathroom between two rooms, which can be easily used as family chalets. We also have a camping area where tents can be pitched, and campers can benefit from showers and flushing toilets in their own dedicated block. The chalets are bungalow rooms, with brick walls, running water, flushing toilets and all include mosquito nets and fans. The lodge is a guesthouse for both domestic and international travellers, hosting conferences for local businesses as well as accommodating budget and backpacker guests. Our friendly staff will ensure your stay is an adventure and we welcome families, individuals and groups.
Die Lage des Hotels
Located in Chintheche town, 2km from the main lake Malawi road, Sambani Lodge is situated 20 metres from a beautiful sandy beach in lush gardens of bourgenvillia and under shady mango trees. The lodge is roughly 4 hours drive (depending on roads) from Lilongwe airport, or an hour from Dwangwa (if you charter an aeroplane to Dwangwa regional airport). Transfers from Lilongwe or Dwangwa can be arranged in the Sambani Lodge vehicle, and prices start from 35,000Mk (around $220 US dollars) from Lilongwe. The vehicle can take a maximum of seven travellers including luggage.

The restaurant is able to produce a range of both Malawian and European meals, including fresh fish from Lake Malawi. The bar is well stocked with beers, soft drinks and spirits, however all Hotels in Malawi are at the mercy of the supply chain, so don\\\'t be surprised if certain drinks are out of stock for long periods.
