Hotel "KATERINA" provides individual protection measures and ensures available stock for each member of the staff of the property. All employees which have been informed and trained on the sources and modes of transmission of the virus, the actions to be taken, and the Cleaning and Disinfection Methods / Practices in the Hotel Areas.
Reception Desk Operations
Collect useful contact information, Management of Hotel must hold files per each employee and clients who will stay in our property (First and Surname, Nationality,arrival and departure date, Permanent home address, telephone number, email address), with a view to be possible to communicate if will be necessary. Of course following the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Special Equipment "Medical Kit" (Disposal nose / mouth mask, gloves, suitable cleaning products, antiseptic wipes, apron, Long - Sleeved robe, Lazer Thermometer).
Provide Antiseptic Gel in our Property Common areas Reception desk, Breakfast area, Common WC.
Regular disinfection at Reception Desk Surfaces.
Update information and procedures in advance so as to avoid overcrowding during the check in / check out.
Appropriate Marking (stamps) in reception area so as to hold the distances correctly.
Disinfection of rooms keys per each client deliver, ( We kindly ask to hold your keys during your stay).
Different check in (15.00) / check out (11.00) times in order to extend the time, between the deliver and the receipt per each room / per each new client.

Careful Hygiene in all common hotel areas.
Control the operation of washing Machine and dishwashers in order to maintain suitable warm water temperature and amount of detergents ( certificated via Greek Medicine Agency).
Cleaning and Ventilation each rooms during the refreshing time before the new clients.
Suitable personal equipment for non - transmission of Covid -19
Daily maintain cleaning is not provided during the remaining period (it is possible every 3 days), In case clients prefer daily cleaning a formal message is required.
Fresh Linen ( bed sheets, Towels , pillow covers) per each room will provided on request.
Used professional steam - cleaner > 70C for upon cleaning and disinfection especially for difficult surfaces per each room like curtains, mattress, pillows and bathrooms.
Removal decoration items and leaflets ( Like Menus, Brochure magazines etc)
Remote Controls for TV or air condition will be covered with disposable covers for every new arrival
Following careful procedure for unclean linen to the linen warehouse.
Customers are kindly requested to use the disposable bags where provided in the rooms after the linen use
Following appropriate actions for the safer deliver of the clean linens to the rooms
Actions for Snack Bar - Breakfast Operation
Receipt of new products with personal protection measures
Keeping the distance between the employees in the kitchen
The entrance to the kitchen for not having work is not allowed
Hand Disinfection at the entrance and exit of each space.
Using disposable tablecloths and napkins
Continental breakfast is provided (instead of buffet which usually provided by the hotel) in order to avoid overcrowding in the buffet area.
Room Service is not supported
Unfortunately the Hotel Gym with Sauna and Hammam will not supported
Suitable Actions for Swimming Pool Operation
Following cleaning and disinfection procedures according the rules no. Δ1γ / Γ.Π / οικ19954 / 20.03.2002
Check and record every 4 hours the proper operation of chlorination and the level of Chlorine.
Record the level of PH every 8 Hours.
Maximum swimmers at the same time sixteen (16),
Arrangement of seats around the pool with minimum distances 1.5m.
Disinfected every sun bed, chair and table after each use. Kindly requested from our clients to inform us after use of a sun bed.
Air Conditioning and Ventilation
Air conditions in all Hotel have been disinfected and cleaned according to the legislation under numbers Δ1 (δ) /ΓΠΟΙΚ.26635/23.04.2020
The automatic system which turn off the air conditions when the doors are open, is out of order.

Suitable marking to remind customers to keep their distance
Antiseptic gel is provided
Based on the above actions for the non-transmission of COVID 19, the hotel will not be responsible for any compensation in case of an accidentally issue of Covid19 .
Clients are kindly requested to follow the instructions of the staff in order to avoid the transmission of the disease.
