A family-run concern, the ”ILIOS of Paros” holiday accommodation complex is located in Drios village on the island of Paros, directly overlooking the Aegean Sea. Flowerbeds and trees adorn the grounds, and there is nothing to obscure your enjoyment of the sea view while relaxing on your veranda. “ILIOS of Paros” is a small traditional holiday complex, ideal for relaxing holidays, situated in a peaceful spot, on the sea front (50 meters from the sea), at walking distance (250 meters) from the center of Drios village. Die Lage des Hotels
“ILIOS” is built at a distance less than 50 meters from the beachfront of our small and almost “private” beach. It is only 5-6 minutes (on foot) from Drios beach, 250 meters from the center of the village and 1250 meters from “Golden Beach”, the largest and most beautiful beach of the island, which is ideal for wind surfing, kite surfing and other sea activities (such as diving, sea skiing). In the area, there are organized centers for wind surfing and kite surfing as well as a diving center. When you reach Paros (Parikia), if you do not have a car, you can enter Drios by bus (there are lines every 1 hour, the route takes about 50 minutes and the ticket cost is approximately 3 Euro) or by taxi (in about 25 minutes and the cost is approximately 30 Euro). Drios is a small waterfront village located at the southeast part of Paros. In Drios, the visitor will find every infrastructure that can ensure that he will have a laid-back stay. There are many restaurants and taverns, some of them by the beach and others at the inside of the village. All of them offer a great variety of “dishes” in a clean and neat environment with affordable prices. There is a very organized super market for your daily shopping. For your night out, there are some amazing cocktail bars and snack bars-café. Drios is connected with the capital of the island, as well as with almost every other village with two bus lines. During summer months the transportation is very frequent, usually there is a bus almost every 1 hour. The area offers a wide variety of beaches with crystal clear waters. Some of them are organized (with beach bar, umbrellas and sun-beds, sea sports etc) and others are quieter and you can enjoy the sun and the sea peacefully.

At ILIOS we offer : One room studios, which can offer hospitality to 2 or 3 persons. Two spaced studios, which can offer hospitality to 3 or 4 persons and are consisted of the entrance room, where there is the kitchen and 1 or 2 single beds and then a bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom. Apartments which are composed of two autonomous bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and can offer hospitality to 4-5 persons. Sport und Unterhaltung
1. Windsurfing One of the most popular beaches amongst the Windsurfing fans is located very close to us, at a less that a 1.5 km distance, Golden Beach. The beach New Golden Beach (Tserdakia) is also located at 3 km which is also popular and it is preferred by the experienced fans of the sport, since very strong winds usually blow there. Until recently, the global windsurfing championship took place at the New Golden Beach. You can also windsurf at Santa Maria, Tsoukalia, Kolibithres and at Pounta (opposite Antiparos). 2. Kite Surfing Kite Surfers’ paradise is located at the strait of Paros-Antiparos at Pounta. This west beach of Paros is preferred by kite surfers due to the proper winds that blow at the area. The global Kite Surfing championship takes place here. The Golden Beach and the New Golden Beach (Tserdakia) are also suitable for Kite surfing. 3. Scuba Diving The magic of the ocean is unwrapped around Paros. Many centers are active and they are ready to guide you at a gorgeous magical place! Small trips, educational experiences, whose purpose is to make you admire and love the greatness of the nature! Impressive caves, unique shipwrecks, a live wonderful world awaits you to discover it under the vigilant eye of the professional instructors, with safety and gravity. 4. Water Skiing At Paros, there is a water skiing center at Kolibithres which has many years of experience on this particular sport. You can also enjoy Water Skiing at other beaches of the island, such as Golden Beach and Faraggas. 5. Cycling You can enjoy your rides at the nature of Paros by riding your bike. The fans of mountain and off road rides can follow some of the mountain paths and earthy rides, at the inland, from Lefkes up to Lagkada, the Agioi Theodoroi and Aspro Chorio, the Monastery of the Jesus of the Forest and Kamari. Many bicycle lovers use the roads of the island, to enjoy the soft lines of the hills of Paros and our coastline. STROLLS-HIKES Byzantine Path It is the oldest and most typical, for hike lovers, path of the island and it connects Lefkes with Prodromos. Duration of almost 1 hour. The path is also suitable for mountain bike. Lefkes-Lagkadas-Aspro Chorio-Drios It is the most demanding and less known hiking route. Route. 10 km, Duration 3-3.5 hours Marmara-Molos-Fanari-Kalogeras An easy hiking route, at the flatland from Marmara up to Molos beach and from there, walking on the sand, at Kalogeros beach. Route km 3.5 km, Duration approximately 1 hour Environmental Park Paros environmental park was created recently, as that particular area preserves the elements required for it to be emerge as a special place, mostly for hiking and observing lovers. Route 7 km Route duration approximately 2:30 hours
