Komati River Chalets is nestled on the confluence of the Komati and Crocodile Rivers in the Southern Kruger Park region of Mpumalanga’s Wild Frontier. Situated on 12 acres of Komati river front wilderness, Komati River Chalets is one of the regions premier country accommodation providers .
The famous Kruger National Park's, Crocodile bridge gate is a mere 12km from the lodge. The sweet veld grasses of the South Eastern Kruger National Park ensure that this is arguably the best game viewing areas of the entire park with vast herds of plains game followed by the predators who are attracted to the spoils of this pristine area.
Both Mozambique and Swaziland are but a stone throw from Komati River Chalets providing the perfect base from which to explore both exotic destinations.
The restaurant, bar and pool facilities, and the individual chalets, are no more than fifty meters from the water’s edge where pods of hippos and an array of spectacular bird life will entertain for hours on end.

Gastronomie im Hotel
The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday for breakfast and dinner only and on Sundays for breakfast only. With dining areas both indoors and outdoors, patrons are able to cosy up inside or dine outside overlooking the pool and gardens. The menu is simple and offers a variety of homely dishes. A children's menu is available for hassle free family dining. The bar adjacent the restaurant is open from 5.00pm allowing guests the opportunity to sit back relax and enjoy a well-earned sun downer.

GARDENS & RIVER:
The 12 acre property is a blend of beautifully cultivated gardens, river bushveld and Komati River frontage. Please note that the river is home to resident Hippo and Crocodiles and no swimming in the river is permitted.
SAFARI'S
We offer guided, half or full day Kruger National Park open top vehicle or closed vehicle game drive directly from our property. Our guides are highly qualified, experienced, attentive and passionate about every aspect of safari.

A Kruger National Park employed guide will interpret the natural bush as well as offer further insight into the ways of the
Kruger National Park.
Guests need to arrange their own transport from Komati River Chalets to Crocodile Bridge Gate Rest Camp where you will meet up with your Kruger National Park guide and then climb on board the open vehicle to begin your game drive.
FISHING
In house guests are welcome to fish free of charge from the bank. There are numerous good cleared fishing spots along the river on the property. Rods and reels are available for hire and a small selection of fishing tackle is available for purchase at reception.
We do also however offer both half day and full day guided bank Tigerfishing. Our guides know the river as well as the best techniques allowing our fishing guests great odds to hook and land a nice sized Tiger Fish.
Included in the bank Tigerfishing half day and full day rates:
Guide | Bait | Rods, reels and tackle. Any equipment or tackle damaged or lost will be charged for over and above the fishing rates. Guests are welcome to use their own tackle.
Excluded:
All food and beverages. Fishing clients need to bring their own food and beverages for the duration of the activity with them.
