habe über den Singapore Sia Hop on gelesen, ist wohl recht günstig um auf einer Sightseeingtour durch Singapore zu kommen. Für Reisende mit Singapore Airlines ist er sogar umsonst. http://www.siahopon.com/ - falls der link unter Hier wieder nicht klappt.

Außerdem habe ich in einem amerikanischen Forum einen aktuellen Bericht über eine Cruise mit der Costa NeoRomantica gefunden. 3 Häfen hatte diese Kreuzfahrt mit uns gemeinsam. U. a. Mumbai:

Mumbai

Mumbai is a huge, bustling city. We were there overnight again so had the opportunity to explore quite a bit of this crazy city. Dear hubby and I did the ‘Bombay City Highlights’ tour which took us to the Gateway to India, the Hanging Gardens (which don’t hang!) Chowpatty Beach, Dhobi Ghat (the famous open air laundry), a temple, Ghandi’s house, past many of the impressive Imperial Victorian buildings and St. John’s (the Afghan) Church. It was an interesting tour and gave us an overview of the vastness and contrasts of this city.

· We had to queue for the landing cards again.

· There is a fairly modern cruise terminal building where you can pick up maps and information.

· There are a couple of souvenir shops in the terminal...you must bargain –it’s expected.

· Taxis are available outside the terminal but they cost more than the taxis outside the dock gate. Apparently the drivers have to pay a fee to get inside the dock complex and this is passed on to the customer.

· The port exit is a 5 minute walk from the terminal building.

· The black taxis are not air-conditioned and therefore cheaper than the air-conditioned blue taxis.

· We paid US$50 for a 3½ hour taxi tour on our second day.

· There are lots of souvenir sellers round the tourist spots......you must bargain.

Im Preis ist der Führer und das Fahrzeug enthalten.

Der Führer ist Deutscher  und  im Tripvisor hoch gelobt.

in den Bericht über eine Kreuzfahrt mit der NeoRomantica gab es auch eine interessante Beschreibung wie das mit Indien / Visum  von Costa gehandhabt wird. Hier ist Cochin der erste Hafen in Indien: (nur ein Auszug)

You must have a full multiple entry Indian Visa which must be obtained before getting to India or you will not be allowed to land. It was my understanding that there were many passengers who did not have the required visa and you cannot purchase one at the dock.

· Costa completed most of the landing document information for people who had the correct visa so all we had to do was sign the 4 spaces. Costa also provided the required photocopy of your passport.

· All passengers with visas had to collect their passports/photocopies at the designated time and location and then go before Indian Immigration officers before being given landing cards. Passengers with ship’s tours went first and then independent tourists could get their clearance.

· The sail-in was pretty and you could see the Chinese nets and the old town on the other side of the river.

· Taxis and Tuctucs were available but at quite a distance from the dock area.

· The ship docked approximately 6 miles from the old town.

· We were there on a Sunday and many shops were shut.

· There was an official currency exchange on board but local sellers would accept Euros and $US.

· There were a few sellers at the dock gates with postcards etc.
