Shutdown Polish website: FAQ

Which HolidayCheck websites are being closed down, and when?

Our website HolidayCheck.pl will be closed down on 24th May 2018.
HolidayCheck.de, .at, and .ch will continue to run as normal.

Why is this site being closed down?

Our vision is to become the most holidaymaker-friendly company and to deliver the highest standard of our services. To reach this goal, we decided to only focus on the German speaking markets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Polish website runs on a different, not state-of-the-art technical system which do not meet our quality standards and promises towards our partners and customers.

Can reviews still be submitted in other languages for my hotel?

On HolidayCheck only German reviews are accepted – other languages will not be published. Alternatively, if you would still like to receive Polish reviews you are welcome to refer your guests to our partner website www.Zoover.pl.

What will happen to Polish reviews of my hotel that are already published?

Published reviews are still accessible on HolidayCheck and will not be deleted.

What will happen to my Business Center account?

Your Business Center account will still be accessible in Polish, German, English, or Spanish.

What will happen to my uploaded pictures, comments or hotel description if these were in Polish?

Pictures and comments will remain on the HolidayCheck.de, .at, and .ch sites. From now on hotel descriptions can only be added in German and English; Polish descriptions will not be transferred and deleted.

What will happen to my booked advertising campaigns on HolidayCheck?

Your booked campaigns will run in full on HolidayCheck.de, .at, and .ch.

What will happen to Polish Widgets?

Please change your widget to either .de, .at, or .ch.
