Therefore, making sure your hotel profile has an attractive design and is up to date is critical. The Business Center, the platform for hotel owners, makes it very easy to set up a personalised hotel description. You can insert facilities and upload photos of your hotel.

Your hotel may have a pool, but if you didn’t enter it as a feature in the profile it will not appear in the results and holidaymakers looking for a pool will never even get to see your hotel. This is easy enough to fix! It only takes a few clicks to specify facilities in the Business Center, our hotel operators' platform, using the menu item facilities.
By now, your potential guests are already aware of your hotel's facilities and offerings. To give them an even better idea of your hotel, you need to add an indicative hotel description. Default catalogue texts are often very similar to one another and make it difficult for guests to tell the difference between hotels. Personalise your offer with an individual hotel description.
Since only German-speaking holidaymakers use HolidayCheck to find accommodation, it would be helpful to enter a German hotel description. If you don’t speak German and your staff members aren’t able to translate into error-free German either, we recommend you go to the effort of contacting a translation agency. If you haven’t yet uploaded any photos for your hotel, your profile will only show those uploaded by former guests after their stay. These types of pictures are often taken with mobile phone cameras. The lighting isn’t normally great and they show rooms as they look after having been occupied for several days. We recommend you upload attractive photos of your hotel, and that you keep them updated too. Hiring a professional photographer for a perfect presentation of your hotel pays off.
You can upload and manage several pictures at once in the Business Center. High-resolution pictures in landscape format are best. We recommend a minimum resolution of 1200×1200 pixels.
Have you recently renovated? If so, new photos are a must. Apart from this, guests always love to see a profile photo suited to the season. In the winter, use a picture of your hotel in the snow to get accommodation seekers into the right winter holiday mood straight away.
You can communicate with former and potential guests via your hotel profile.
Former guests can review your hotel on your profile. You can easily comment on these reviews in the Business Center. This is a great way to demonstrate that you value your guests' opinions. You can also respond to negative feedback here. Since guests leave their reviews in German, you can have them translated into English in the Business Center with a single click.
Potential guests are able to submit questions to your hotel. These are displayed on your hotel profile at HolidayCheck and can be answered by other guests, HolidayCheck employees, and you. The Business Center includes an option to respond to these questions and share your knowledge with guests in order to resolve any doubts before a booking. Questions too can be easily translated into English in the Business Center.
In addition to the option of customising your hotel profile, the Business Center also offers interesting statistics for your hotel on HolidayCheck, as well as various advertising materials for use in hotel marketing.
