The Kleinwalsertal is a geographic peculiarity and can only be reached from the German resort Oberstdorf! There is also a great selection of leisure time activities: enjoy pristine nature on a multitude of cleared winter hiking trails. Additionally, a tennis centre with indoor courts and bowling alleys are available. If you just want to relax, you will definitely find enough opportunities both within and away from the hotel complexes. End your day in a cosy bar or hit the dance floor in a disco of your choice.

Together with Oberstdorf, Germany's southern-most community, the Austrian Kleinwalsertal forms the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal ski region. This region can be accessed with one lift pass and, with 61 kilometres of piste, is especially suitable for families and beginners. Experienced skiers will also get their money's worth on excellently prepared pistes, which can be reached with 36 gondolas and lifts. On the Nebelhorn, you can reach 2,224 m with the highest cable car in the Allgäu. Under good weather conditions, you can enjoy a fantastic, wide view from the peak station of the 400 peaks between the Zugspitze and Swiss Säntis. Additionally, you can ski Germany's longest valley run from Nebelhorn down to Oberstdorf. The area on Söllereck, with primarily easy to intermediate pistes, is ideal for families. The Walmendiger Horn offers lovely and diverse runs for different skill levels. A special attraction is the dual-country ski connection Fellhorn/Kanzelwand: here it is possible to ski from the Austrian Kleinwalsertal to the German Fellhorn ski area!

The 4-star IFA Hotel Alpenhof Wildental is situated approx. 2 km from the centre of Mittelberg. The ski bus stops directly at the hotel and brings you comfortably to the approx. 3 km distant ski area. Facilities include a hotel lobby and fireplace room with free W-Lan access, a library and an indoor pool. Relax in the spacious spa area with Finnish sauna, sanarium, aroma steam room, massage jet showers, fog shower, infrared cabin and relaxation room (incl.). Free parking spaces and garage parking (payable locally) are also available.

Furnishing/Board

The rooms offer a bathroom with tub or shower/wc, bathrobe, hair dryer, telephone with direct line, satellite TV, minibar, room safe and balcony, loggia or terrace. The all inclusive board consists of a comprehensive breakfast buffet with organic corner and warm dishes. A salad buffet, soup and daily dish are served at midday. A salad buffet and multi-course meals are available in the evening. 1 x week gala dinner. All non-alcoholic drinks (incl. from the minibar) are also included. Rucksacks with lunch packets and beverages are also available for hikes.
