Our house "Kontoyiannis" offers a relaxed family holiday in self catering holiday apartments, a Cyprus Village Holiday away from it all in sunny Cyprus. Our traditional stone built  family house in Kalavasos village, in Larnaca District  of Cyprus is about half way between Limassol and Larnaca.  Kontoyiannis House is a traditional Cyprus village house from the period before the 1890's. Thick stone walls, lots of windows, built around a central courtyard, wooden shutters are a feature of Cypriot architecture. Cool courtyards in summer filled with grape vines and a riot of colour in the scattered flower pots. In winter a warm suntrap for a peaceful lunch. The house plan is ideally suited for a  holiday apartment in Cyprus 
Kontoyiannis house has been in operation as a family run business since 1994. It is has been a member of the Cyprus Agrotourism company since the company first began operation. 
The Kontoyiannis House is a great place to use as a base while exploring Cyprus. The house is centered around a courtyard and has 5 bedrooms, it can be let as 4 separate apartments or as a whole. Three apartments x 1 bedroom (2 beds), one apartment x 2 bedrooms (4 beds)(sleep7), each apartment can accommodate 2 extra people  in the living room area. All apartments have a combined lounge/kitchen, patio or balcony, TV, air conditioning and central heating making our apartments suitable for both summer and winter holidays.  Our traditional stone built  family house in Kalavasos village, in Larnaca District  of Cyprus is about half way between Limassol and Larnaca. Kalavasos is centrally located for the whole island so a great place for a holiday experience that will allow you to visit the whole of Cyprus and at the same time see how the typical Cypriot passes his day.
